  • 1 cup onion sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup broccoli cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup carrots thinly sliced
  • ½ cup unsalted nuts peanuts or cashews, optional
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger freshly grated
For the Stir Fry Sauce
  • ½ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • ½ cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine
  • 1 tablespoon asian chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet, add ground turkey, and sauté until browned.
  3. In the same skillet, stir fry broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, and onion for 3 minutes, then add garlic and ginger.
  4. Add the turkey back and pour the sauce over everything, simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Stir in toasted nuts and serve hot, garnished with chili sauce and green onions if desired.
