- Slice two pieces of sourdough bread, about 1 inch thick.
- Layer three slices of sharp cheddar cheese on one slice of bread, followed by kimchi. Top with the second slice.
- Melt some butter and brush a thin layer on the outer sides of both slices of bread.
- Air fry the sandwich at 400°F for 10 minutes, flipping halfway. Alternatively, cook in a pan over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side.
- Remove the sandwich from heat and let cool for a minute before slicing in half and serving.
