- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. In a separate large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture and fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the dough into two portions. Roll out each into a rectangle about ½ inch thick, cut into strips, then twist two strips together and place on the baking sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until golden edges form. The centers should remain soft.
- Cool the twists on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely. Drizzle melted chocolate over them before serving.
